A special thanks to The ESPN Zone in Anaheim, CA for donating a portion of September sales of the award winning Sweet & Salty Sinker Slider created by Joel Pineiros of the Los Angeles Angels & his wife Shirley. Thanks to the ESPN Zone, patrons enjoyed a delicious slider and helped children with autism at the same time.

• Who is ACT Today!

  ACT Today! stands for Autism Care and Treatment Today! ACT Today! is a national nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to raise awareness and provide treatment services and support to families to help their children with autism achieve their full potential. Our goal is to introduce and help facilitate early and on-going treatment by providing the necessary resources (including referrals, funding and guidance) to individuals with autism and their families. Studies demonstrate that early and intense intervention is important when treating individuals with autism, yet sadly very few of the effective treatments are covered by medical insurance and families are often delegated to piece together a treatment program for their child via multiple funding sources. Often, the child with autism must go without vital interventions due to financial restraints.   "Nothing can ever be said to thank you enough for the grant given by ACT Today! for Bryce’s continuing ABA therapy. He is a loving, intelligent, and worthy little boy who has a bright future ahead of him – his mommy and daddy are stopping at nothing to make sure of it! Since beginning ABA last March, he has found his voice, making all sounds he had lost; many new words are on the way. In fact, I heard him address me as "mam" for the very first time just a few weeks ago. While most parents take something so simple for granted, it was a moment of pride and joy and hope for us.
