What Can You Do?

The Eddie Guardado Foundation is inspired by the creativity and dedication of many businesses, individuals and kids across the country who contact us and want to help Families affected by Autism.

So you want to help, but don’t know what to do?

The following are just a few ideas to inspire your fundraising efforts on behalf of our Mission:

Retail business?

• Create a special promotion and inspire your customers to help make a difference! 
• Host an office donation drive/special event (BBQ, breakfast, etc)
• Host an auction online or a silent auction at work/office

Family or Individual?

• Dedicate birthday/holiday/religious celebration gifts to The Eddie Guardado Foundation
• Compete in a race and gather pledges from friends and family
• Encourage your company to match funds from employees
• Have a bake sale/lemonade stand/garage sale
• Organize a fundraising event/drive through your civic/school sports team
• Start a local Chapter of Ava’s Friends, complete with your own web site (with our help of course)

After your event or promotion, don’t forget to tell up about it so we can post it on our site here for everyone to see.

Businesses that raise funds for the Foundation through special promotions/programs will be featured as a corporate sponsor on the Eddie Guardado Foundation web site, our newsletter and other promotional materials.  Additional benefits may be available. Individuals will be featured in a story on our web site as one of Ava’s Friends.
